My Art & Inspiration

I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, but acrylics are my favorite. I love using vivid colors and painting my cats in all the colors of the rainbow. Nearly all of my cats feature what I like to call "feathered eyes," which has become my trademark.

I feel that the eyes of a cat show their independent spirit, and I try to capture each cat's mystical personality in my paintings. My love of fantasy can be seen in my magical fairy cats, gothic cats, winged cats, and many other fantasy cat creations.

Aside from my fantasy cat paintings, I also enjoy painting custom commission portraits of pet cats. I always feel so honored when my clients entrust me to immortalize their feline friends in a work of art.

25+ Years of Fantasy Cat Art

Tigerpixie Fantasy Cat Art has grown with me over the years, from my earliest fantasy cat paintings to the colorful, detailed cats I create today. Looking back at older pieces beside newer versions reminds me how much my art has changed while still keeping the same love of cats, color, imagination, and magic at its heart.

My cats have always had big personalities, expressive eyes, and a touch of fantasy. Over time, my style has become more refined, but the spirit behind the artwork has stayed the same. I still love creating cats that feel like they have their own stories, moods, and little worlds.

Whether they are sweet and dreamy, spooky and gothic, magical and winged, or bright and whimsical, I want each cat to feel full of personality and heart.

My Family & Furbabies

I live in Florida with my wonderful family all close by. Home with my husband and daughter. I also have a son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter too.

We have 8 beautiful cats that were all strays. They are my furbabies! Pixie is our sweet old lady. Anakin is our special two-legged cat and Mika is our other special kitty. Arya is our sweet all-white kitty. Romeo and Quincy are brothers, and Miko and Milo are our newest kitties.

Miko and Milo were rescued in October 2024. They are also brothers and technically my Grandfurbabies since they are my daughter's cats and she lives here with us. You can meet all of my furbabies on the Meet My Cats page.

Artist's Vision

I have always been an animal lover, especially of cats. All my life I have been surrounded by these magnificent creatures and have witnessed their incredible awareness of the world around them.

Throughout history, cats have been worshiped and adored by humans for their magical qualities. From every corner of the globe, over the many years since the pharaohs, the revered cat has held a special place in our hearts and stories.

The cat is truly a magical, mystical creature, blessed with extraordinary senses that we mere humans will never know. It is said that feline eyes are windows allowing us to see into another world. I believe the world seen through a cat's eyes is truly a fantasy world.

Through my artwork, I wish to bring that world to life so that you will believe in the fantasy of cats as I do.
