Bookmark - Hades God of the Underworld
Hades God of the Underworld - Bookmark - My own cat version of Hades the Greek God of the Underworld and Cerberus, I decided to use the classic depiction of him for my interpretation and have him on Mount Olympus. Hades has a lot of symbolism so I went with some of the most recognizable that would fit with the painting. His clothing is gray and I have placed his helmet of darkness/invisibility on the ground like he took it off when he got to Mount Olympus. Hades Is holding his two prong Bident/pitchfork. He also had a Bird scepter and the screech owl is associated with him. So I combine the two and added the fire to the prongs. Hades' three-headed dog/hellhound Cerberus is represented as adorable German Shepard puppies.
