Zeus King of the Gods - Prints - My own cat version of Zeus the Greek God of Lightning, I decided to use the classic depiction of him for my interpretation and have him on Mount Olympus. Zeus has a lot of symbolism so I went with some of the most recognizable that would fit with the painting. His clothing is gray and he's wearing a crown of green oak leaves. His throne is black marble with gold highlights and decor. His lightning bolt reflects off of him and everything around him. I put the carving of an oak tree on the throne because Zeus considers the oak tree sacred.

Related Products - This is one of five Greek God & Goddess Cats that I painted for a large commission. Please view the related items to see the full painting "Greek Gods & Goddesses Cats" and the other individual images as well, Hestia Goddess of Hearth, Home and Family, Hades God of the Underworld, Zeus King of the Gods, Persephone Goddess of Spring/Queen of the Underworld and Ares God of War.
